Georgetown County, South Carolina rice plantation owner. Plowden Weston came from Warwickshire, England, to the colony of South Carolina in 1757 and established himself in trade in Charleston (S.C.). He bought Laurel Hill Plantation in 1775 and adjoining lands in 1777.
